By 1970, Chevrolet's mid-size muscle car – the Chevelle™ – had become synonymous with power! The superhero of muscle cars joined the 1:43 Hot Wheels American Classics™ series in 2004: the 1970 Chevelle™ SS 454.
In the grand style of HWC™ cars, the Chevelle™ SS™ features a full-metal chassis and two-piece Real Riders® wheels with the Goodyear tampo. With great attention to detail, the Chevelle™ is finished in Spectraflame® blue with black stripes and SS 454 markings.
Based on the "Gran Toros" line of the early ‘70s, Hot Wheels American Classics™ models include special platform packaging fashioned after that of the original "Gran Toros" models -- makes a great display case! The 1970 Chevelle™ SS™ 454 was produced in quantities of no more than 5,000 pieces, and each package features an individually numbered holographic sticker.
