Twin to the already-popular Mustang, the 1:1 Cougar was sold under Ford's more luxury-oriented division, Lincoln-Mercury, and is considered by some to be the original plush pony car. Then, eight years ago our own Phil Riehlman took its design for a spin and the 2002 First Editions™ lineup saw the initial release of the mainline Hot Wheels® version. For 2010, it arrives at HWC™ with a Spectraflame® red coat and real opening hood, along with a full-metal, polished-chrome-plated chassis, black interior, authentic decos, and Real Riders® preferred wheels with red stripes. With features like these, this is one fast feline no collection should be without!
